*Smoke Me Baby
Bar-B-Que!
Home of the lip smacking, satisfaction Bar-B-Que!
*Pork Sandwich was a bit light on the meat portions
but the meat was very lean and had a good smoked flavor. Fries were very good and looked
to be hand cut - big ol' wedges with some kind of coating that made them crispy on the
outside. The sauce was excellent. Just the right kick that added to the meat. Good for
dipping fries too. Beans were great. A flavor unique to Smoke Me Baby. Service was slow
but Mike, the owner, was working hard to keep up. He was taking the orders and serving. A
small BBQ joint like atmosphere. A nice find. None of us in the group had been there
before. I'd go back again. Love the name of this place!
*Small sandwich was good, but smaller than I had
imagined. Beans were excellent. Not much room to sit down. Good solid smoked meat. I would
go back and try the rib-tips (they are noted for them, but they had sold out of them the
day we went)
*Interesting meat on my sandwich, but I am not sure
what it was.
*I liked "Smoke Me Baby". The half-pound ham
sandwich was great. It was almost as good as Oklahoma Joe's or LC's. It was a pretty small
place and we were close to the TV. It was fun watching "Leeza" while chomping
down on great fries, A good ham sandwich and some excellent beans. I would highly
recommend this place.
*Beans were a little soupy but the flavor was
excellent!! Burnt ends were very good but the serving was small. Not bad for a
hole-in-the-wall BBQ place. Reminds me of the corner cafes in my hometown.
*It was a real plus because it was not a Bar B Q
chain. The fries were very good and appeared to be hand cut. The sauce was above average.
A somewhat hard to find location. I would certainly go back there and eat again. The
owner/manager was very friendly took our order and brought our meals to the table.
*very friendly place, but rather long wait for the
food. good fries and beans...woulda liked a little more smoke to the meat taste (and a
little more meat on the sandwich -- but i guess that's why you get the big sandwich and
not the little one)
*The ribs were well smoked and tender. The sauce was
heated, but it tasted like it could have been a commercial, off-the-shelf brand. Fries
were potato wedges and not bad. The price was reasonable and I'd go back. A nice
surprise.
