*The service was outstanding.
Rib dinner was $ 9.50 with 6
ribs and two side dishes. One
rib was not very good but the
other two I ate were very good.
Some BBQ places give you a
thimble full of beans but they
give you a mug full. The amount
of food they give you is a lot
but the quality is only average.
If you have a big appetite and
have not been to
Oklahoma Joes you will
like it.
It was a nice lunch with the
best table service I have ever
seen. It was served quickly and
she took good care of us. A side
of beans was a mug of
above-average beans. The ribs
were ok, but had way too much
non-edible material on
them. They need to trim them
better. The taste of ribs was
average.
The waitress was almost too
friendly and talked very
much, maybe like she was dining
with us. The food portion was
good. It was a pleasant little
dining place.
The ribs were tender and chewy
but somewhat lacked a fully
smoked flavor. The portions for
everything were massive! I very
much felt comfortable in the
Bonner Springs Ma-and-Pa
atmosphere of the restaurant and
its servers. A nice place to
check out some afternoon.
Never again please and thank
you.
The service was excellent. The
ribs were not good. There was no
smoky taste and the meat was not
good. The beans were OK as well
as the slaw. They did give ample
portions for the price. If you
are looking for value and not
necessarily taste, this may be
your place, not mine. I would
love to give them a second
chance because their service was
great and a comfortable
environment, but won't go back
until we hear that they change
some things.
