*Without
a doubt, the worst BBQ outing I've been on in all the years of the GAS odyssey.
I gave some thought to giving this place a zero rating! Would not recommend. The
place is basically a bar that serves up deli meat sandwiches with BBQ sauce.
Great place to go if you like second hand cigarette smoke. There was more smoke
in the air than there was in the meat! The beans tasted like cardboard. No need
to go on further.
*I was very disappointed to find out this
is more of a bar than a restaurant. I ordered the baby back rib special with a
side of fries, slaw and tea, and my bill was over $18.00! The ribs tasted as if
they had been cooked three days before and reheated in the microwave.
The slaw was made with vinegar and old and also tasted tired. There were
two 6-top tables, ours and the one next to us where 4 people were smoking
heavily and it blew right at us!
Worst of all, we missed our host who chose this spot and then was unable
to go with us. Luckily, it was a
great group to bond with over such a yucky meal.
*Don't go for barbeque!
We knew we were in trouble when the first thing the waitress said was,
"We are out of spaghetti." The
beans were bland (I did not finish them); the sauce was mostly vinegar; and
worst of all, the ribs were reheated from a week ago!
And to think we passed up Daniels and Ricky's Pit on the way.
