*A very nice edition to Olathe’s BBQ restaurants. The place is part of a chain, but a very good one. The ribs were tasty and had a good smoke flavor to it. It was a great meal and the servers and manager were quite friendly. I will be back.

*I really liked the Log Cabin restaurant. The ribs, fries and beans were very good. It was a nice place, clean and relaxing. I enjoyed meeting the manager and I think he will do well in Olathe. I would go back and probably order a sandwich the next time. If you want to get a good deal, just ask for their French fries. The three sauces were excellent and I recommend the smoky flavoured sauce.

*I got the Rib and meat combo with 2 sides for 10 bucks. On the menu it said rib and meat so I was surprised that there were 3 ribs on my plate. The pulled pork was good and the ribs were even better. The service was great and the side of fries was much larger than I expected. Three different sauces, hot, smoky and regular. I liked all of the sauces. Hush puppies are not something you see every day in a BBQ place. A good experience, but certainly not Oklahoma Joe quality.

*The restaurant was clean and comfortable. I had the pulled beef and chicken sandwich which did not seem to have a lot of smoked flavor and was salty, but the bun was good. The fries were excellent. The smoky sauce was my favorite of the three sauces. The cole slaw as below average. I heard the ribs and pulled pork were good and would go back to try these items.

*Nice lunch outing. I had a Pulled Pork Sandwich with a side of Beans. The Pork was good but it could have used a bit more smoky flavor. Sizeable portions on the Sandwich. The Beans were alright but needed just a little extra zing. However, they were served in a decent sized portion - something that is lost on many BBQ establishments/joints. They had 3 versions of BBQ sauce - Regular, Hot and Smokey. All three were very tasty. I ordered my Sandwich dry so I could try the different sauces. You order at the counter which, IMO, is the best way to run a BBQ operation. This model usually leads to quick and efficient service - unless we are talking about  L.C.'s - the model of inefficiency in counter service.  Nice atmosphere and the folks working there are very friendly. Good place to bring a family and they offer a variety of family BBQ packs. Value points for keeping the prices at a comfortable rate. Give them a try - I'll be back again.

*This is the first place I have seen shredded meat other than pork. The chicken and beef were also shredded for the sandwiches. I liked the beef although it was hard to tell how lean it was. The staff was very friendly in this walk-up-to-the-counter-and-order kind of service. It was very informal and fast. I would like to go back and try the ribs. There were 3 kinds of sauce. I liked the smoky the best.

*This it not a Jack's, but it is good fast food BBQ. You want (need) a good, fast lunch, this is the place!
