*The beans had chunks, not flakes of meat, which I liked.  They were, however, a tad HOTTTTTTTTTT regarding spices.  Us Yankee boys got our throats a bit blistered. I ate so much I'm dizzy! I never want to see BBQ again, at least until next year. I was very pleasantly surprised.  The only negative for me was the extra thin sliced beef which I believe loses some juiciness.

* Zesty BBQ sauce was tasty and distinctive

* A "must go" for KC BBQ

*Overall...gotta give LC's a 10.  A little pricey for lunch but definitely not a evening meal stop.  The food was great, the bean's were spicy, the sauce was sweet, and the portions (burp!)...need I say more?

*The BEST Bar-B-Que anywhere.  This is it, baby! Don't miss it.  It puts everyone else in the minor leagues.

*excellent pork sandwich; however, lacked any "smokiness"

*No pickles.  The bars on the windows really made me feel safe. Best place yet!   Do you really have to buy the pickles? Outstanding sandwich! Try to remember that they open at 11:30 (The first group was so hungry they arrived 30 minutes before they unlocked the doors.)
