*Nice find over there in Lee Summit. Strip Mall type of BBQ joint. I had the Poor Rick sandwich which was chopped up Beef and Pork - along the line of Snead's Log Sandwich. Very good sandwich and the meat was piled high on the bun. Sauce was decent and complimented the sandwich. I tried a Rib and  it was darn near perfect. Great smoky flavor, very tender and cooked to perfection. Appearance, taste, tenderness - all top scores on the rib. Fries were very good and the Beans were just ok - perhaps a little overcooked. Excellent service, good portions and value. I'd recommend Holy Smokes BBQ and I'd definitely go back. The only improvement to the operation would be to configure an order from the counter service, like OK Joes.

*I think Holy Smoke's BBQ is one of the best BBQ places we have been in the KC area. I have a great rib dinner, good beans and excellent fries. This is a place where you need to stop if you are in the Lee's Summit area. We had good service and the place was clean. They have three different sauces and one of them I didn't like. The sauce they put on the ribs was excellent. On Wednesday, they have specials on ribs. The ribs are some of the best that I have tried in KC.

*I enjoyed the BBQ. It is located in the same place where Ribs and Stuff used to be. It is far superior to Ribs and Stuff. They have three sauces if you include the hot sauce which is available on request. The service was good. I did not like to pay $.50 extra for beans instead of slaw or pay $.50 extra to get sweet potato fries instead of regular fries but the sweet potato fries were excellent and I supposed sweet potato’s cost more than regular potato’s. One in our party wanted to order a beer but they do not serve beer consequently Holy Smokes must be a Baptist place. I would certainly go back anytime I was in Lee’s Summit at lunch time.

*This is quite a find. The ribs were great. They have been open 8 months now and still make the ribs like they were submitting them at a contest. It was a good meal. It is well worth the trip down to Lee's Summit. Check it out.

*I loved this place! The service was friendly by the owner and her daughter. I wanted to try the brisket and the ribs. I got there early so there was no one to share a platter with and I ended up getting a brisket sandwich and one back rib. The rib was meaty and tender and one was just enough with the sandwich. The buns are delivered fresh from Roma bakery and the quality was evident. The tea comes either sweetened (Southern style) or non-sweetened. The price includes one refill which is plenty. The only item I didn't care for was the slaw. It tasted as if there was horseradish in it; too hot for me. I sat near a fireplace façade and felt very much at home. I plan to go back with my family.
