*The ribs were great.  They had a lot of meat and did fall off the bone, but were good.  They did put a lot of sauce on the ribs, so you may want to ask for it on the side if you don't want any sauce.  The sauce also had a good flavor and was tangy.  The beans were above average and had a lot of meat in them.  I also had the fried okra and it was great.  There are two entrances so if you miss the first entrance drive past the building on the busy corner and you can enter the second entrance if you are going west on Swope Parkway.

*Lots of food.  Very clean, neat place!  Ribs were meaty but just no smoke flavor.

*G & G is a jewel on Swope Parkway.  The long ribs were very meaty and the sauce is just-right spicy.  If I must find a flaw, perhaps ribs were technically a bit overdone as the meat nearly fell off; but that is a minor issue.  I would go back in a minute.

*I had the ribs and two sides $ 7.75.  The beans were average and the fries were steak fries.  I prefer steak fries with BBQ.  The ribs were tender and had possibly been boiled.  Although they were tender they did not have any smoke taste at all.  The ribs were very meaty and above average.  If I was over in the plaza area I might stop in again but would not make a special trip just for the BBQ.  No question the portions were above average and certainly a good price at $7.75.

*The dinner came in a to-go box with plasticware.  This is both good and bad, can't decide which.  Located in a old McDonalds.

*Sounds like a suspicious name for a BBQ joint.  At least we were not told they were out of their Spaghetti lunch special.  That's a reference for the readers to an ill fated trip to Marissa's BBQ.  I had the dinner special with Brisket, Turkey, Fries and Beans.  Not much smoke flavor in the Brisket and the Turkey was right out of the HyVee deli.  Sliced thin, cold and warmed up in a microwave with sauce.  Beans were cold and right out of the can.  Fries were so so.  Not much to recommend here.  Maybe the fish is better?  Since the place is called fish and ribs, ordering ribs might have been the logical choice!  I suspect the rib eaters will set forth better reviews.

*Great value for the amount of food you get.  Not enough “smoke” flavor for me.

*This was a nice surprise.  The beans were good, but need a bit of smoke or BBQ flavor.  Ribs were good and plentiful.
