*The BBQ was above average and I would go back again.  I had the chicken and two sides for $8.

*Rock Chalk BBQ!  If you're looking for a great place to watch a KU game in Lawrence and have some good BBQ this is the place.  The lunch portion of the brisket plate (comes with 2 sides) was plenty of food and a good price ($7.99).  I was somewhat disappointed in the brisket - it was a little on the dry side.  The sweet potato fries were excellent - best I've had.  The beans were OK - too soupy for me but they did have good flavor.  They had 3 different sauces to choose from - I enjoyed the rich sauce the best.  Although I always prefer the places where you order at the counter, the service was pretty fast and they were accommodating to our individual check request. Overall a nice addition to the BBQ selection in Lawrence.

*Biggs turned out to be a big delight.  Located in a strip mall on Iowa with a small wrought iron enclosed patio, it is a little hidden from view.  I had the lunch portion of the sandwiches with brisket and choice of two sides.  On Dan's suggestion,  I chose their sweet potato fries, which were just the right amount of thickness, and they were delicious.  My brisket was lean and moist.  It was full of flavor.  I liked their sauce.  I made an un-BBQ- like decision to have green beans.  They were whole, lightly buttered and salted. I thought they were very good.  The décor is a sports bar and we were given cloth napkins with our meal. It's a bit more upscale than most BBQ places.

*Nice place.  I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and a side of Beans.  The Pork was definitely pulled and bordered on shredded.  Very thick smoke flavor to the  Pork and some pieces were crispy.  Great Sandwich.  The Beans were not bad but they were a bit on the runny side.  At least they give you a decent sized portion!  I tried some of the Sweet Potato Fries and they were good.  I'm not a big fan of Sweet Potato Fries but these were good as SPF go.  Service seemed slow today.  Forget about the drink orders first.  Order the food first then bring the drinks!  Decent atmosphere with a Sports Bar theme.  Saw former KU BB players Chris Piper and Danny Manning there!  If you are a KU BB fan, that's pretty cool.   Overall a good experience and I'd go back.  Always great to see Dan at a G.A.S. outing.

*Good place.  I had a good ham sandwich and the beans were also very good.  It had a nice atmosphere and good service.  It must have been pretty good because Danny Manning showed up and had some BBQ.  I would go back.  It could probably be the best place for BBQ in Lawrence.

*It was difficult to recognize the former "Molly McGees" because it's been successfully converted to a BBQ joint.  The brisket sandwich was lean and tender.  Three kinds of sauces were offered to sample.  Side of beans were not to my taste - soupy and not enough flavor, but sweet potato fries were excellent.  I would go back.

*Very good Pulled pork…crunchy and smoky.  Overall it was a good lunch.  A bit far from OP, but a nice trip for a summer lunch trip.
