*delicious. One of our group ordered the boiled peanuts and we all shared some. They were soft and tasted more like a kind of bean than a peanut. This is the first BBQ place I have gone to with this group that offered boiled peanuts--a unique menu item. I thought the menu offered many options and am intrigued by the fried corn item. The pictures of it appear to be of a fried whole cob of corn. I will definitely go back..especially since I forgot my gloves.
*The rib rub is a bit sweet rather than some other flavors; I ate much of it sans sauce. The sauces, BTW, are very good, all 4 of them, although I didn't use the HOT. This is my second time to visit, and I will certainly return.
*The restaurant was clean and inviting. The 4 barbeque sauces were great. I liked the original sauce which had a mustard base. The beans were very good and the ribs were also good and moist with a good flavor. I did not care for the cole slaw but the garlic bread was very good. I would definitely go back and try some other menu items. The service was also very good.
*Food OK. Service above average. The 4 sauces were the best part of the BBQ. Texas toast was a nice touch.
*I am never excited to see a chain come to town, but this one was quite good. The guy who served us was very good and made the trip a pleasurable experience. The ribs had good flavor, but were not as tender as I like. The beans were a welcome change from the sweet beans of most places. It was a good lunch.
